During her study in the textile department Celeste has been working on finding a way to create non repetitive weaving patterns.
Arthur and Celeste have been working on a program to cultivate 'random' combinations of pixels called; the Anti Pattern program. In this installation the patterns are translated into a tapestry.
The weave in the installation; eyes a wilderness of pixels leaving any sense of pattern behind. The linen yarn is hand dyed in several light baths of indigo. Dipping the yarn at various moments and little quantity each time; results in a unpredictable collection of hues in blue.
The ceramic pot is driven by electronic coils and serial loops. She has no sensors, and her 10 kg body can drive itself into pieces. Constrained by elastics and wire makes it hard for her to escape the loop.

A Play in one act
[ceramic, linnen, various electronic components, attention, fantasy, LAG, Sadie Plant, python scripts, arduino UNO-motor-board, …etc]
A pattern play, staring with;
a captured ceramic pod; she reaches out to the weave that has an uncanny wiring of its own and a small clock that doesn't know any time but the present.
